Plant-dyed organic cotton with a wool core and hand sewn border.

March: all the promise of warmth and colour to come, but with the muted colours and cold days of winter clinging on. The spring equinox occurs in March and this quilt is inspired by this month of transition.

Plants include madder root, nettle, oak and iron, red onion, alder cones and indigo.
